Animal Protection Voters’ Endorsed Candidates in General Election Win
for Attorney General, State Land Commissioner, State Legislature,
Court of Appeals, District Judges and Sheriffs

Albuquerque, NM (November 4, 2010) — Several candidates endorsed by Animal Protection Voters (APV) in New Mexico’s 2010 general election have won in many key races.

For New Mexico state legislative races, candidates with stellar voting records on animal protection issues won APV’s endorsement because of their consistent support and defense of animal protection legislation. APV’s endorsements in other races such as for Attorney General, State Land Commissioner and County Sheriffs, were based on the candidates’ demonstration of initiating and supporting strong enforcement of animal protection laws across the state and within their jurisdiction.
