A legislative celebration & benefit for
Each year following the New Mexico legislative session, Animal Protection Voters holds its Political Animal Affair, a gala fundraising event where lawmaking champions are recognized for their important role in helping animals. Because 2009 is Animal Protection of New Mexico (APNM)'s 30th Anniversary, a combined APNM/APV celebration was held in place of the 2009 Political Animal Affair on October 18th, at the magical Chalk Farm Gallery in Santa Fe. The evening always includes live music, a luscious vegan dinner, as well as fabulous live and silent auctions with travel packages, works of art, personal services, gift certificates, jewelry, collectibles and much more!
The Political Animal Affair is an opportunity for the public to support the cutting edge work of New Mexico’s only organization that combines politics with animal advocacy: Animal Protection Voters.
Supporters can choose from a number of ways to support the Political Animal Affair:
• Donate an item or service for the live or silent auction
• Become an event sponsor or secure other event sponsors
• Attend the event and bid on auction items
• Purchase a table for the event
• Serve on the volunteer organizing committee
• Volunteer to help staff the event
• Secure donations of auction items for the event
