House Agriculture Committee Hears
Bill to Ban Cockfighting on Feb. 24th
 SB10, the bill to ban cockfighting, will be heard in the House Agriculture & Water Resources Committee this Saturday, February 24th. The hearing will take place in the House chambers 30 minutes after the House Floor session. (We're sorry we can't say exactly what time this will be, but if we get more information, we will let you know. It is likely it will be in the late morning or early afternoon, but we may not get any more detailed information on the hearing time before Saturday. By this time in the legislative session, hearing schedules are not very predictable.)
It is still important that supporters of SB10 show up at this hearing in large numbers, so please plan on attending! The cockfighters will surely be there to oppose the ban! If you would like to attend and don't have a ride to Santa Fe, please send an email to: mail@apvnm.org or call 265-2322, x21 and we will try to help you find transportation.
