Candidates for State Legislature
Endorsed by Animal Protection Voters
APV Members to Receive Mailed Document
Several pro-animal candidates for state legislative offices have won endorsements from Animal Protection Voters, a statewide animal advocacy organization.
In some races, incumbents with stellar voting records on animal issues won endorsement for consistently supporting legislation that favors animals. Each endorsed candidate has pledged to take a pro-animal position on animal protection issues or has already demonstrated a commitment to promoting strong laws for animals at the state level.
Due to legal restrictions that prohibit 501(c)(4) nonprofits from distributing political endorsement information to non-members, we cannot publish our endorsement list in this venue.
APV members will receive a letter from us that contains the endorsements for the primary elections in the next couple of days. In September, members will also receive APV’s endorsement list for the November elections.
If you are not yet a paying member of Animal Protection Voters, you may join APV online for as little as $15 for a student or senior membership, or $20 for an individual membership. After submitting your payment, you may follow up to receive APV’s list of endorsements before the June 3 primary by contacting:

Animal Protection Voters is the political voice for people who care about animals. APV works to build political capital for animal advocacy across New Mexico.
Thank you for your involvement!
