Animal Sheltering Services Act passed
Senate on Saturday, 29-6!

On Saturday March 3rd, SB458, the Animal Sheltering Services Act, passed the New Mexico Senate by a vote of 29-6. We would like to especially thank the bill’s sponsor, Sen. Mary Jane Garcia (D-Dona Ana), and those Senators that spoke up to support the bill including Senator Joseph Carraro, Senator Timothy Jennings and Senator Nancy Rodriguez.

Now the Animal Sheltering Services Act will move on to the House. At this point in the session, some bills are moving through committees at a lightening pace and on to the floor, so please call your Representative today and support SB458!
