Contact your New Mexico Legislators:

One Representative and one Senator represent every voter in New Mexico. There are several ways to find out who your Representative and Senator are:

  1. By using your voter registration card — you will have a Senate District and a House District listed
  2. By using your address, go to Project Vote Smart (http://www.vote-smart.org/)
  3. By contacting your county clerk

Once you know the names of your Legislators, or your district numbers, you can look up their contact information on the New Mexico Legislature web site: http://legis.state.nm.us/

Remember, during the session you will want to contact your Legislators at the State Capitol, and that contact information is listed on the bottom of your Legislator's web page. Contact information for them in their home districts, where they can be reached the remainder of the year, is listed at the top of the page. Letters and phone calls are the best way to reach them as many Legislators do not use email, even if they have an email address listed.
