State Legislation
Animal Protection Voters is dedicated to the passage of stronger animal protection laws for all of New Mexico. Although our state legislature is only in session for a short time each year, we work year round to ensure that a strong voice for the animals is heard at the state capitol.

In 2008, the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office won an appropriation of $77,900 for ACT for: law enforcement education about animal cruelty; investigation and prevention of animal cruelty; apprehension and prosecution of violators. |
